SHRUB OAK LIBRARY’S MEET THE AUTHORS DAY
The John C. Hart Memorial Library is planning to have a “Meet the Local Authors” day with reception on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 pm. Each author will have a table set up and sign and/or sell their books. Attendees will move around the tables discussing the books with the authors. The library will provide refreshments. authors will be signing and selling their books.

One On One continues to reach audiences
One On One continues to air each Monday on Channel 8 on Comcast from 7 pm to 7:30 pm. Plans are in progress to add new shows through to 2017. Be sure to also catch all archived shows on You Tube. Dacquino to Join Poetry Reading at Front St. Gallery
Jeanette, curator of the Front St. Gallery in Patterson, NY has invited Vin Dacquino to join several other poets to read on Wed. night April 27th from 7:00 to 9:00. Refreshments will be served.
Dacquino to do new tv show: One on One
Vin Dacquino, former host of “Let’s Talk Writing” will pilot a new TV show starting February on Comcast’s Channnel 8. The show will feature interesting people from all walks of life. The first scheduled guests will be attorney Pat Bonano who will discuss choosing the right career; the second guest will be author and Private Investigator, Frank Hickey. The shows will be aired on Mondays from 7 to 7:30 PM.
Dacquino Turns Freight House Into Fright House
Author Vin Dacquino will haunt the Freight House on Friday, October 30 with his tales of the supernatural. rumor has it he will reveal the ghosts who haunt the cafe’. A regular and special menu will be offered which will of course include a selection of wines and beers. Festivities begin at 7.
